      Module#1 – Introduction to Programming
      Introduction (30 seconds) "Hi everyone! Welcome to this quick introduction to programming. Have you ever wondered how video games, websites, and robots work? They all use code! Programming is like giving instructions to a computer so it knows what to do. Today, we’ll cover the basics of coding and how you can start writing your programs." 1. What is Programming? (45 seconds) "Programming is how we talk to computers using special languages. Just like we use English or Spanish to talk to each other, computers understand languages like Python, Java, and Scratch. You can create games, apps, websites, and even control robots with programming! Think of it as writing a recipe – the computer follows your instructions step by step." 2. The Basics of Coding (1 minute) "Let’s look at the three key concepts of programming: 1️⃣ Variables – Think of a variable as a storage box where you keep information. Example: Python code: age = 12 name = "Alex" This tells the computer that Alex is 12 years old. 2️⃣ Loops – Loops help us repeat things without writing the same code multiple times. Example: Python code: for i in range(5): print("Hello!") This will print "Hello!" five times! 3️⃣ If-Else Statements – These are like decision-makers. Example: Python code: if age > 10: print("You can play the game!") else: print("Sorry, you need to be older!") This tells the computer to check your age before letting you play a game." 3. Why is Programming Important? (30 seconds) "Programming helps us solve problems, create fun projects, and even build robots! It’s an important skill for the future and the best part? Anyone can learn it! You don’t need to be a genius – just curious and ready to experiment!" Conclusion & Next Steps (15 seconds) "Now that you know the basics try writing your first Python program! Start by printing your name with this command: Python code: print("Hello, my name is Alex!") Great job! Keep practicing, and soon you'll be coding like a pro!"
